For the second consecutive week, women’s ice hockey junior, Kelly Babstock (Mississauga, Ontario), earns Quinnipiac Athlete of The Week honors.
This past weekend Babstock led the Bobcats to a two game sweep of Maine by scoring five goals and recording three assists. Her fabulous weekend included a four-goal performance in game one to break the program record for goals in a game.
Quinnipiac’s all time scoring leader has now amassed 14 points in just four games this season and has emerged as the nation’s fourth leading scorer. The Bobcats most prolific player also earned her second consecutive ECAC Hockey Player of The Week award. She will hit the ice again with her teammates this Friday, Oct. 19 on the road versus Syracuse.
