The Bobcats (8-4-2) will host the Sacred Heart Pioneers (5-7-2) at the Quinnipiac Soccer Field at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. This match between the Bobcats and the Pioneers will be the 15th time the two teams meet on the field. Quinnipiac’s over-all record with Sacred Heart is 4-6-4 with the Bobcats losing last season’s match by a score of 2-1.
Coming off Senior Day last Sunday, the Quinnipiac defeated Mount St. Mary’s 1-0 in double overtime. The Bobcats will be facing a hungry Pioneers team who lost to LIU Brooklyn on Oct. 14 0-1. The Lady Bobcats will face a tough test trying to stop Pioneer senior forward Jennifer Mulvey and freshmen midfielder Dana Cosmedy, who have a combined 14 points.
Bobcat goalie, Jill Kelly, who was named Defender of the Week for a third time by the NEC and for a second time by College Sports Madness, will have her hands full trying to stop the attack of Mulvey and Cosmedy.
The Quinnipiac Bobcats and the Sacred Heart Pioneers are tied for fifth place with 13 points apiece.
