Victoria Vigilanti has earned this week’s QBSN Athlete of the Week honors, after recording two shutouts to lead the women’s ice hockey team to a pair of wins over Yale and Brown.
Vigilanti stopped all 36 shots she faced in the Bobcats’ final regular season weekend on the road. With the two victories, the Bobcats secured home-ice advantage in the first round of the ECAC playoffs.
The Bobcats kick off tournament action on Friday night at 7 p.m. when they host St. Lawrence at the High Point Solutions Arena in the first game of a best of three series.
