The seventh nationally ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats take on the University of New Hampshire Wildcats Saturday, Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. Quinnipiac (9-1-3, 3-1-2 ECAC) is coming off of a big win over Boston College and UNH (6-5-2, 2-2-2 ECAC) is coming off of a loss to Princeton.
Keys for Quinnipiac:
- Chelsea Laden needs to keep performing the way she has. UNH averages 30+ shots per game and that would be the most shots Laden would face in a game this season.
- Get a lot of shots on net. UNH has given up 34 goals in 13 games.
Keys for UNH:
- Break down Quinnipiac’s defense. Quinnipiac has only given up 14 goals in 13 games. This speaks volumes about Chelsea Laden but it is also a testament to the Bobcats’ reliable and steady defense.
- Look to the team’s top scorers, Nicole Gifford and Arielle O’Neill. The team has had a hard time scoring and to get a couple past Chelsea Laden, it is going to need some of the veterans to step up.
