Women’s ice hockey senior Kelly Babstock has been named QBSN’s Athlete of the Week. Babstock had a 3-point weekend, scoring a goal and an assist on Friday at Cornell, and an assist on Saturday at Colgate for her 200th career point.
The Mississauga, Ontario native is still the only women’s ice hockey player to be in triple digits for career points.
Babstock and the rest of the No. 9 Bobcats take on the Saints of St. Lawrence in the first round of the ECAC playoffs this weekend at the High Point Solutions Arena, with game one slated for Friday night at 7 p.m.
