Women’s Ice Hockey Junior Forward Morgan Fritz-Ward earns this week’s honor as the QBSN Athlete of the Week. Fritz-Ward led the Bobcats on Senior Day as she netted two goals against Brown on Feb. 15.
After coming off of a tie against Yale on Friday, the Bobcats exploded on Saturday by netting five goals against ECAC opponent Brown. Two of those goals came off of the stick of Fritz-Ward, one about 15 minutes into the second period and the other coming at 13 minutes into the third period.
Fritz-Ward finished up the weekend with a +1 rating and further solidified herself as a top 5 scorer for the Bobcats as she boosted her numbers to a 9-5-14 line for the season.
The Bobcats finish up their season this weekend as the go on the road to face two more ECAC opponents in Colgate and No. 3 Cornell.
