- The Bobcats are coming off of a 3-0 loss to Princeton on this past Tuesday to begin their three-game homestand.
- Quinnipiac comes into this game ranked at the fifth position in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Hockey standings behind Clarkson, St. Lawrence, Cornell and Princeton.
- Goaltender Sydney Rossman has registered 24 career shutouts for Quinnipiac and another shutout this season would tie the program record previously set by Chelsea Laden.
- Quinnipiac’s giving up 1.50 goals on average per game, which nationally ranks third.
- When the Bobcats are the first to get on the scoreboard, they’re 15-1-3 this season.
- Rossman was named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the week earlier in the season while both T.T. Cianfarano and Kenzie Lancaster were each named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week earlier in the season as well.
Brown (5-18-0, 3-13 ECAC) notes:
- The Bears are approaching this game fresh off of back-to-back Yale losses last weekend on Friday and Saturday by final scores of 2-1 and 4-2.
- Brown has lost six out of their total eight January games while getting outscored 31-15, that is, scoring 15 goals while letting up 31 goals in those eight games; Brown looks to start off the month of February on a positive note.
- Assistance captain Sam Donovan has been the leading offensive threat with eight goals and seven assists (15 points) for the Bears this season; she’s also on a four-game point streak.
- Sena Hanson was named ECAC Rookie of the Week on 1/10/17 as she’s tied for second on the team with 11 points with Bridget Carry.
