The Quinnipiac University Bobcats (0-4-2, 0-0-0 ECAC Hockey) will look to notch their first win of the season Friday as they host the undefeated Brown Bears (3-0-0, 0-0-0 ECAC Hockey).
The Bobcats are coming in off of a bye weekend after they traveled to Vermont on October 12th and 13th where they tied both games. Sophomore forward Taylor House played as big as her last name with some huge goals and one that turned everyone’s head, even making in onto ESPN.
Freshman forward Lexie Adzija looks continue her hot start to her college career. Adzija has notched 3 points this season, including scoring her first collegiate goal against Maine back on October 5th.
For Brown, their top 4 scorers are all over a point per game early in this season, and team leading scorer Lizzy Gross is averaging 2 points per game, tallying 4 goals and 2 assists in 3 games.
The Bears may be able to play a little more aggressive than usual Friday night due to the Bobcats powerplay that has yet to strike in 20 attempts this season. The Bobcats are one of just 7 teams in the NCAA to not have a powerplay goal this season, 4 of those 7 teams are in the ECAC Hockey conference (Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Quinnipiac)
