The Quinnipiac Bobcats (2-4-2, 2-0-0 ECAC) look to push their win streak to three against the Harvard Crimson (1-2-0, 1-2-0 ECAC), who are looking to snap a two-game skid on Friday. The Bobcats are coming off a win against Yale where Quinnipiac dominated on offense scoring a season high four goals and 40 shots on goal.
Players to watch:
Quinnipiac: Abbie Ives
Abbie Ives has been terrific in goal since the bye week, shutting out both Brown and Yale last week. The Bobcat defense has really stepped up as a whole and that starts with Ives leadership.
Harvard: Kat Hughes
A junior from New York City, Hughes has been a bright spot for the team through three games. She leads the team with three points, and though she is yet to find the back of the net herself, she is always making plays, which is shown by her +2 plus/minus.
Keys to the Game:
Quinnipiac: Feed off the last two performances
Quinnipiac played very aggressively in their game against Yale and needs to come out with the same intensity against Harvard. If they can keep a good fast pace, Harvard will struggle to contain the Bobcat offense.
Harvard: Get shots on goal
Yale and Brown were unable to break Abbie Ives last week, as she went a perfect 33-for-33 in saves over their last two games. Harvard needs to put continuous pressure on the Bobcat defense if they want to come away with the win.
