In the 20th episode of Bobcat Breakdown, it’s the tiebreaker matchup between Sports Paws producers Clever Streich and Gage Kilborne alongside James Blennau hosting the episode.

At the top of the show, Streich and Kilborne each gave their three stars of the weekend that was for the men’s ice hockey team. They also talked about what separates this year’s Frozen Four team compared to the previous teams that made it in 2013 and 2016. To wrap up the first part of the show, Q30 men’s ice hockey beat reporter Matt Mugno recaps the weekend and talks about the rematch of last year’s regional final between the Quinnipiac Bobcats and the Michigan Wolverines.

Coming out of the break, the guys head out to the diamond to talk about how the team defeated Yale on the road 1-0 and how they can get more offensive production heading into MAAC play. In softball, Streich and Kilborne talk about how the softball team is off to a more than surprising start of being ranked last in the MAAC preseason polls.

To close out the show, the QBSN Call of the Week comes from the men’s ice hockey regional final win over Ohio State and Final Roars from the guys on the desk.
