The Quinnipiac women’s ice hockey team squares off against the Colgate Raiders in its first home conference matchup of the season today at 7 p.m.

The Bobcats come in ranked No. 9 in the country as the Raiders look to get their first ECAC win of the year to improve their 0-2 in-conference record.

Keys for Quinnipiac:

  • Limit the number of shots the goaltender sees. Block shots and keep stick on the ice.
  • Take advantage of Colgate’s 21st ranked power play.

Keys for Colgate

  • Put the first defensive pairing on the ice with Kelly Babstock. She is ranked third in the country in scoring.
  • Look for secondary scoring besides No. 8 Miriam Drubel as Quinnipiac will key in on her.
